For the upstream sector, Gate Valves produced with higher alloy materials, are the most relevant and on some occasions, Ball Valves. Their usage is due to their strong resistance to corrosion. As far as the downstream sector is concerned, the valve design solutions are diverse owing to various levels of harsh environment.

The Check Valves, under the category of Self- Actuated Valves, are particularly designed to prevent backflows. When the fluid flows in the desired direction, it allows the valves to open up and the valves are closed during backflow.
