The cooled and filtered gas – called pressure – is sent to another compressor, which is a hydraulic compressor, usually called Booster. It allows to take gas pressure from an average of 100/120 bar, up to 250 bar, in order to create a high-pressure line, the main characteristic of a hydraulic compressor is the low power of its engine, this allows to have a very slow charge phase and the gas is not heated. Moreover, such a unit needs less maintenance than other compressors.
