Self-adhesive anti-corrosion tape, made of butyl compound with incorporate primer spreaded on a low density polyethylene film of 130 µm thickness. The tape is designed for anticorrosion and dielectric protection of buried steel pipes and tanks were needed a good mechanical protection and fast application of the coating. This butyl tape ensures an excellent resistance to pipelines at high temperatures service.  

TIPICAL APPLICATIONS 

• Anticorrosion and dielectric coating for buried steel pipes;
• Refurbish of dielectric and mechanical characteristics in correspondence to welding of pipes to be buried.
• Anticorrosion coating after maintenance services on buried steel pipelines.

The tape is not dangerous for normal use, and if used by skilled workers. It is possible - in particular occasion - to cut or injure yourself. Keep out from reach of children.

Raci India was established in 2009 as a subsidiary of Raci SRL Italy to provide quality engineering solutions for the installation of oil and gas pipelines. Due to the sheer market's proximity to India, we began servicing the Middle East market in 2011.
In 2018, Flowheel FZE, the Middle East arm of RACI Pipeline Division of Raci SRL, Italy, began operations from Ras Al Khaimah Free Zone in the United Arab Emirates.
RACI has a significant presence in Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman.
We work in both the water and oil and gas industries. Since 2018, Flowheel has been expanding its RACI business by entering into new partnerships and carving out a niche in the market from its Middle Eastern base.
In 2020, Flowheel and RACI India collaborated with Radlinger Primus Line Gmbh, Germany, to provide trenchless rehabilitation of underground pipelines in critical installations.
