MLRT – carrying mechanism for all mechanical liner systems. Simple right hand release mechanism. This tool also allows right hand rotation of a liner should it be required when running to planned TD.
The MLRT can be run with Drop Off Liner Systems, Sand Control Systems, Slotted Liner Systems, Screen completions, Sand Barriers and weight set Packers.
The MLRT has 4 basic functions, high torque ability via the “Torque sub” when in it’s profile in the setting sleeve, a drive sub to allow liner rotation should it be called for, a mechanical setting dog assembly which transmits weight to the packer or steel seal if used on a sand control application and high temperature seal (up to 320c) to allow testing to be performed on the “set” packer before retrieving the running tool. Release prior to setting the packer is performed via right hand rotation in a neutral position.
MNLH – Standard “J” functionality for setting.
Features, advantages and benefits:
Can be manufactured in any size
High load capacity
Simple “single cone” design
Running tool allows rotation while running in well should difficulty be encountered before reaching planned setting depth.
Can be run in any well angle.
MPLP - is a compression set Liner Top Packer which is designed specifically for steam applications. It is rated to 600˚F and 3000 psi.
It consists of a Liner top TBR, Thermal Packing Element and Heavy Duty Bi-Directional Slips. The packer is set by mechanical force via the running tool setting dogs when weight is applied to the PBR.
MRTP - is a double-grip, mechanical-set, retrievable, compression or tension set Packer which is designed specifically for injection wells.
The MRTP packer is installed/retrieved with the tubing string. The packer can be left in tension, compression or in neutral position to hold pressure from above or below. An upper slip releasing system reduces the force required for releasing the packer. A non-directional slip is released first, facilitating release of the other slips.
CSSB - Weight set barrier, strong, robust. No rotation required to set the CSSB.
This equipment also carries an integral shear indicator sub to allow the operator / driller a “positive” shear indication when setting down hole leaving no doubt that the appropriate setting weight has been transferred to the liner top. It can also be run with sand screens.
TZIP is a Temperature set packer that provides single-trip speed and efficiency for:
Intelligent completions.
Deviated and horizontal well completions.
Zonal isolation.
High-pressure and high-temperature zones.
TBSA is the working seal between formation pressure and the production tubing.
The TBSA is used in single- or multiple-zone installations to provide a surface indication that the seal assembly is correctly positioned in the polished bore Production tubes, tailpipe and other accessories can be added below.
TBSA can be configured for all sizes, run at the end of the tubing and stabbed into the exisitng liner top or lower packer's PBR. The PBR length will be determined based on the amount of themal movement calculated.
Tubing above the TBSA can be crossed over to larger size if required.
KTTJ is a Travel Joint, which will be located below the Mechanical-set Liner Hanger and has effective travel of 15 feet.
The Travel Joint is keyed to allow for transmitting torque through the entire assembly, and is fitted with 600 deg F seals. Pressure Rating is 3000 psi. Typical operations include thermal expansion and contraction during production or for injection wells . The Travel Joint can also be run in hole pinned in the closed or open position.
The travel joint can be manufactured in all sizes and lengths for thermal expansion or contraction applications as well as completion or liner space outs.
Once weight is applied from above and the pins shear, the travel joint can be spaced out to accommodate thermal expansion or contraction.
SOSA Primarily designed as a “re-connect” system where a tubing can be cut and retrieved, new tubing whether its standard or insulated, can then be run and connected to the previously cut tubing.
Ideally suited for high temperature environments where insulated tubing replaces standard pipe.
The SOSA can be used primarily as a tubing re-connect system. The upper PBR will accommodate a seal stem for tie back purposes
Available in 5 1/2", 7" and 9 5/8". Shear values dependent on well design.
Installed in casing string to prevent casing buckling due to thermal expansion or reservoir compaction (or dilation)
Available in most common sizes
Run within the producing reservoir
Proven to mitigate casing buckling
Features, Advantages and Benefits:
Mandrel machined to match the production tubing specifications for ID and drift.
RH release anchor with +/- 100,000 lbs. shear release.
Special lockable anchor, will not latch into the receptacle before 80,000 lbs. is down weight is applied.
Locator designed to uniformly distribute slack-off weight and thermal expansion loads. The locator is threaded with the production tubing connection to eliminate crossovers.
Spacer tube, as required, is manufactured from tubing.
