CSIR-Indian Institute of Petroleum (CSIR-IIP) was established in the year 1960. This institute is one of the leading constituent laboratories of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR). CSIR-IIP has research program leading to a Ph.D. degree under the discipline of chemical sciences. The institute offers a vibrant and motivating atmosphere, which fosters creativity and encourages innovative thinking and research. The JRFs fellows are selected by CSIR-IIP followed by an interview.
